What is check-in and check-out time?
Check-in time is 4 p.m. and check out is 11 a.m. While we cannot guarantee early check-ins or late check-outs, we will do our best to accommodate special requests.

Is breakfast included?
Breakfast is not included with a room booking. We do offer some packages that include dining credits. Please inquire upon booking.

What is your cancellation policy for accommodations?
To cancel your hotel booking and receive a full refund on your deposit, we require seven days’ advance notice.

What is included when I stay at the resort?
The pool facilities and the fitness room are available to all our guests staying overnight. The pool facilities include an outdoor heated pool, a hot tub, an infrared sauna and a steam cave. Additional amenities include parking, Wi-Fi and the use of our Serenity Gardens with Adirondack chairs and fire bowls.

Is there a resort fee?
Please note we do charge a nightly resort fee of 5% on accommodations.

Are you pet friendly?
Yes, we allow pets in our Standard Oceanview Rooms only. There is a nightly pet fee of $40 in addition to the nightly room rate. Please note it is necessary to request a pet-friendly room at time of booking as these accommodations are subject to availability.
Guide and service dogs meeting the Guide and Service Dog Act of British Columbia criteria (with proof of certification) will be accepted in all areas of the resort at no charge. As per the BC Guide Dog & Service Dog Certification, emotional support animals are not recognized and will be accepted as regular pets with prior reservations only.

When is the last call to ask for my room to be made?
Our housekeeping team will proceed to its last round at 3 p.m. Please use your door hanger, which says “Please maken up my room,” if you require assistance.

Is the Kingfisher Pacific Resort an adult-oriented resort?
Children are welcome at the Kingfisher. However, please note that we are more of an adult-oriented property focusing on serenity and relaxation. There are no on-site activities for children, and the pool facility’s hours for children under the age of 13 are 9–10 a.m. and 6–8 p.m. only. Any guest 14 years old and under must be accompanied by an adult.

Do you have any rooms designed for guests in wheelchairs or with limited mobility?
We do offer ground-level accommodations as needed by guests with limited mobility. Please be sure to make this request at the time of booking.
Although it depends on guests’ unique requirements, we usually suggest the Accessible Beachfront Orca Suite for those with limited mobility, as it’s the most accessible for guests requiring a ramp, walk-in shower and grab bars. We can also provide a raised toilet seat or shower seat on request. Please note there is no elevator access in our Standard Oceanview Rooms or Ocean Courtyard Rooms (only the Beachfront Suite building has an elevator).

Are the rooms/suites air conditioned?
Air conditioning is available in our Ocean Courtyard Rooms, Grand Pacific Beachfront Suite, Eagle Beachfront Suite and our Penthouse Beachfront Suite. Every room and suite has a fan and sliding doors with screens. Additional fans are available upon request.

What is your smoking policy?
All guest rooms, patios and balconies are 100% non-smoking. This includes use of tobacco, vaping products and cannabis. There are designated smoking areas located around the resort. Please ask the front desk agents for details.

Do you have an EV charging station?
At this time we do not have an EV charging station on site. There are multiple charging stations located less than 10 kilometres from the resort. A list of eight locations is available at the front desk.

Do any of the rooms or suites have cooking facilities?
All rooms and suites include a small fridge and coffee maker. Our Beachfront Suites and Penthouses feature a high-end kitchenette for those looking to enhance their experience.

Can I bring a propane BBQ or fire bowl for the patio/balcony?
Personal BBQs and fire bowls are not permitted on our guest room patios/balconies, but you’re invited to enjoy the numerous fire bowls in our stunning Serenity Gardens.

Can I bring candles into my guest room?
Candles are not permitted in guest rooms as they are a fire hazard.

When are the Serenity Gardens’ fire bowls lit?
The Serenity Gardens’ fire bowls are lit each evening from dusk until 10 p.m. Please note fire bowls cannot be reserved.

Is there a bike storage and wash station?
We have limited bike storage on site, but we can offer a bike wash station area on request.
Should you wish to store your bike in our storage, please inquire with the front desk for availability and details (we are not liable for theft or damage).

Does the Kingfisher host weddings?
We no longer host weddings at the resort, as our mission is to provide a relaxing spa environment for our guests.

Does the Kingfisher offer meeting space?
Yes, our Kingfisher Room and our Penthouse suites are available for intimate corporate retreats, team development and meetings. Learn more here.
Pacific Mist Spa

What is your cancellation policy for the spa?
In the event of illness preventing your attendance at the scheduled appointment, please kindly notify us. While the cancellation fee still applies, the incurred amount can be used as credit for a future service within the next three months.
Because we have reserved this specific time for your appointment, we require a minimum of 48 hours advance notice for any cancellation or appointment time changes.
After that, please note the following service charges:
Within 48 hours: 50% of the service price
No-show: 100% of the service price

Are non-resort guests able to use the pool facilities?
Only registered resort guests and day spa guests with advanced reservations to the Pacific Mist Spa are able to access our outdoor pool facilities.
We do not offer drop-in rates for access to the pool facilities only.

I only have an appointment for a spa service. Can I freely access the pool?
Day spa guests may make a pool reservation for one hour before their spa treatment or Pacific Mist Hydropath® appointment. Day spa guests are welcome to sign up by calling our Reservations Department at 1.800.663.7929. Please be advised that access to the pool facilities is not guaranteed with your spa booking.

What is the Pacific Mist Hydropath®?
The Pacific Mist Hydropath® offers a guided therapeutic journey through a re-created West Coast shoreline, with sandstone sculpted caves and pools. Each of its eight steps delivers unique therapeutic benefits, and it’s a perfect experience to enjoy on your own, with friends or with someone special. How long is a session in the Pacific Mist Hydropath®?
Your guided hydrotherapy experience will last one hour. To complete the experience, you are invited to spend time in our Relaxation Lounge, which overlooks the Strait of Georgia, and enjoy a cup of soothing herbal tea.

Are we alone in the Pacific Mist Hydropath?
Your experience will be guided by one of our attendants. You may have other guests enjoying the experience ahead of you or behind you.

What are the restrictions for the Pacific Mist Hydropath®?
The service is not recommended for guests with heart conditions, high blood pressure and/or mobility issues (you must be able to navigate stairs and lower into and out of the bathtub). The Pacific Mist Hydropath® may not be suitable for guests with thyroid conditions, those with iodine or seaweed allergies, and pregnant women. More serious health conditions require a doctor’s permission. The Pacific Mist Hydropath® is not suitable for individuals under the age of 16. Those aged 16 and above must be accompanied by a guardian or their parents. Please inquire before booking.

What are the restrictions for the spa treatments?
At the Pacific Mist Spa, we want you to enjoy a safe, nurturing and relaxing experience. Some of our spa services are not recommended for our guests with certain health conditions, such as allergies, high blood pressure and thyroid conditions. The use of essential oils is not recommended for pregnant women. More serious health conditions require a doctor’s permission. Please inquire before booking your spa experience.

Is it necessary to reserve for spa appointments?
Yes, all spa services require advanced reservations, including our Pacific Mist Hydropath®. If you’re staying on a package that includes spa credits, we strongly suggest reserving at the time of booking to ensure you’re guaranteed a spot.

Can I claim my massage for medical benefits?
Only massages booked with a Registered Massage Therapist are claimable through insurance. It is necessary to request a Custom RMT Massage at the time of booking. We do not offer direct billing; a receipt will be provided upon completion of the service.

Is there a fitness room or gym at the Kingfisher?
Yes, our Fitness Room is equipped with brand-new gym equipment and is available for resort guests, who can access it with their room key between the hours of 7 a.m. and 10 p.m. Please visit the front desk for help finding our gym facilities.

Is the Kingfisher currently offering fitness memberships?
While we sincerely appreciated the opportunity to have welcomed fitness members over many years, we are no longer offering fitness memberships. We hope to welcome you back as day spa or resort guests.

Minimum Age:
Spa Treatments : Guests must be 13 years of age to enjoy select spa services.
Swimming pool: Children under the age of 13 are welcome from 9:00am-10:00am and 6:00pm-8:00pm daily. Any guest 14 years old and under must be accompanied by an adult.
The Pacific Mist Hydropath® is not suitable for individuals under the age of 16. Those aged 16 and above must be accompanied by a guardian or their parents. Please inquire before booking.

Do you offer room service?
Room service is available daily from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. For more information and to see our Room service menu, please visit our Ocean7 Restaurant and AQUA Bistro & Wine Bar pages.
All room services orders will incur a $5.00 delivery fee, auto-gratuity of 15% & applicable taxes. Please advise room service of any food sensitivities or severe allergies. Not all ingredients are listed.

Is a dinner reservation necessary?
Advanced reservations for Ocean7 Restaurant and our new seasonal Sky Domes are necessary. Our AQUA Bistro & Wine Bar and outdoor patio are available for walk-ins. If you’re staying on a package that includes dining credits, we strongly suggest dining reservations at the time of booking.

Is there a dress code?
While there’s no dress code for Ocean7 Restaurant, our guests usually dress elegantly for dinner. At AQUA Bistro & Wine Bar, guests are welcome to dine in their robes for breakfast and lunch. Come as you are and make yourself at home.
