Minimum Age
Spa Treatments : Guests must be 13 years of age to enjoy select spa services.
Swimming pool: Children under the age of 13 are welcome from 9:00am-10:00am and 6:00pm-8:00pm daily. Any guest 14 years old and under must be accompanied by an adult.
The Pacific Mist Hydropath® is not suitable for individuals under the age of 16. Those aged 16 and above must be accompanied by a guardian or their parents. Please inquire before booking.

What is your cancellation policy for the spa?
In the event of illness preventing your attendance at the scheduled appointment, please kindly notify us. While the cancellation fee still applies, the incurred amount can be used as credit for a future service within the next three months.
Because we have reserved this specific time for your appointment, we require a minimum of 48 hours advance notice for any cancellation or appointment time changes.
After that, please note the following service charges:
Within 48 hours: 50% of the service price
No-show: 100% of the service price

What are the opening hours of the Pacific Mist Spa, pool facilities, Fitness Room and Boutique?
These are open daily. Please see our opening hours here.

Are non-resort guests able to use the pool facilities?
Only registered resort guests and day spa guests with advanced reservations to the Pacific Mist Spa are able to access our outdoor pool facilities.
We do not offer drop-in rates for access to the pool facilities only.

I only have an appointment for a spa service. Can I freely access the pool?
Day spa guests may make a pool reservation for one hour before their spa treatment or Pacific Mist Hydropath® appointment. Day spa guests are welcome to sign up by calling our Reservations Department at 1.800.663.7929. Please be advised that access to the pool facilities is not guaranteed with your spa booking.

What is the Pacific Mist Hydropath®?
The Pacific Mist Hydropath® offers a guided therapeutic journey through a re-created West Coast shoreline, with sandstone sculpted caves and pools. Each of its eight steps delivers unique therapeutic benefits, and it’s a perfect experience to enjoy on your own, with friends or with someone special. How long is a session in the Pacific Mist Hydropath®?
Your guided hydrotherapy experience will last one hour. To complete the experience, you are invited to spend time in our Relaxation Lounge, which overlooks the Strait of Georgia, and enjoy a cup of soothing herbal tea.

Are we alone in the Pacific Mist Hydropath?
Your experience will be guided by one of our attendants. You may have other guests enjoying the experience ahead of you or behind you.

What are the restrictions for the Pacific Mist Hydropath®?
The service is not recommended for guests with heart conditions, high blood pressure and/or mobility issues (you must be able to navigate stairs and lower into and out of the bathtub). The Pacific Mist Hydropath® may not be suitable for guests with thyroid conditions, those with iodine or seaweed allergies, and pregnant women. More serious health conditions require a doctor’s permission. The Pacific Mist Hydropath® is not suitable for individuals under the age of 16. Those aged 16 and above must be accompanied by a guardian or their parents. Please inquire before booking.

What are the restrictions for the spa treatments?
At the Pacific Mist Spa, we want you to enjoy a safe, nurturing and relaxing experience. Some of our spa services are not recommended for our guests with certain health conditions, such as allergies, high blood pressure and thyroid conditions. The use of essential oils is not recommended for pregnant women. More serious health conditions require a doctor’s permission. Please inquire before booking your spa experience.

Is it necessary to reserve for spa appointments?
Yes, all spa services require advanced reservations, including our Pacific Mist Hydropath®. If you’re staying on a package that includes spa credits, we strongly suggest reserving at the time of booking to ensure you’re guaranteed a spot.

Can I claim my massage for medical benefits?
Only massages booked with a Registered Massage Therapist are claimable through insurance. It is necessary to request a Custom RMT Massage at the time of booking. We do not offer direct billing; a receipt will be provided upon completion of the service.

Is there a fitness room or gym at the Kingfisher?
Yes, our Fitness Room is equipped with brand-new gym equipment and is available for resort guests, who can access it with their room key between the hours of 7 a.m. and 10 p.m. Please visit the front desk for help finding our gym facilities.

Is the Kingfisher currently offering fitness memberships?
While we sincerely appreciated the opportunity to have welcomed fitness members over many years, we are no longer offering fitness memberships. We hope to welcome you back as day spa or resort guests.
